HRS Professional Recruitment SoftwareWe are pleased to announce a change in the ownership and management of the HRS Pro recruitment software. As of January 1, HRS has been acquired as part of a management buy-out by the current development team. What does this mean for current customers? In the short term nothing will change. Your support will still led by Kevin and the team. Issues can still be reported either by email or phone (whichever suits best). In the longer term, this buy-out gives the development team the autonomy and ownership they felt was necessary in order to push the product on another stage. New VersionThe new version of HRS is now ready (version 10) and has been on-test in a beta form within a number of our customers. The feedback has been very positive, and the team are now ready to release this version to the wider customer base. Please contact them to discuss an upgrade to the latest version. Support ContractsIf you have a current support contract, the terms of that remain unchanged and will be delivered by the same team that you have dealt with for years. If you want to take on a new support contract, organise some customisation or training - the costs for these things will not change and can be organised directly with the team. Thank youCordis have very enjoyed our time with this products and its many successful and innovative customers. We're very grateful for the business you've given us, the time spent with us and the positive suggestions you've all made. It has become increasingly clear to us that HRS Pro was not a core product within the Cordis organisation, and as such, we were not in the position to give it the investment (both financial and time) that it needs to give our customers what they need from their recruitment software. "Our agreement with the team who have bought out HRS was carefully constructed to ensure that HRS customers get the service and support they need now, and in the future. We actually went down a path with this acquisition that was more structured around ensuring the current customers' ongoing support, versus a one-off financial payment to us. As such, we genuinely believe that the next stage of HRS will mean a better experience for the current HRS customers." commented Dan Box, Cordis MD. What do you do now?You don't need to do anything at this stage, as it should very much be 'business as usual'. If you need support, or would like to speak to someone at HRS, the details are:
"We're very excited to be taking on the ownership of HRS Pro, a product which we've developed and supported for over 10 years now. We have some big plans for it, first of which is to release the new version to everyone who wants it! It's a big step up from the current HRS version 9, and will quickly followed by smaller, more frequent releases of new versions. Cordis have been a great organisation to be part of, but we felt strongly that if HRS is to improved further, we need to do that ourselves where our focus is 100% on recruitment software every hour of every day. "We are committed to supporting all our current customers to a high level, as well as making product improvements immediately that will benefit everyone. I hope you feel comfortable in this change, and I would be happy to talk anyone about any of the details. I look forward to making your HRS experience an even better one in 2012." said Kevin Mortimer, HRS Pro Managing Director. Once again, thank you very much for the opportunity to work with you all over the past 3 years and we wish you a prosperous 2012. Best regards, Daniel Box |
